![]() I can set the clock speed to 44 or 48 on the Helix or 18i8. ![]() I find it strange that you'd have purchased both C7 and a KPA and can't figure this out, if I'm perfectly honest. The reamp signal will play that profile through the Kemper, and youll hear that profile through your monitors. Set the Kemper input to ReAmp SPDIF (if you set it to spdif) Solo one track. I can also then just swap the SPDIF cables over quickly if I want to use my Kemper. Connect spdif ins/outs, route them in the f4 connections manager, click the input section and select 'spdif input' on the Kemper. Create a reamp bus, and set it to the reamp output. It's much more convenient to route it all through the 18i8 and I was wondering if I could do it via SPDIF as I know how to use it well via mix control. I tryed to clone with the Kemper the MXR DynaComp Compressor (the Red one). Unless you know if a way to control this in the editor? The 18i8 is a small little thing and it's right in front of me so no bending down. 4) Setting reamp sense: Now comes the final stage of reamping before you hit record. Don't forget to change the output type on the Kemper in the output section to master stereo or stack, depending on whether you want to use the Kemper delay and reverb or not. If I use the Helix as a USB interface I have to continually be changing the XLR cables from the Helix back to the USB interface, and changing the input/output source in the DAW when I want to record vocals and monitor a friend at the same time.Īlso, I have to keep bending down to change the master volume as I've got the unit under my desk as it's so big. Set the input on this track to SPDIF or your master output. The idea is, if I can put everything through my 18i8, I can track through it, reamp through it, and then with no fuss at all I can plug a microphone in, listen through headphones to the playback, sing, and also monitor another person singing as it has 2 headphone outputs. Are you also sending a clean signal to the DAW for reamping, or recording everything with amps and effects I dont reamp often, I usually just send a stereo signal over S/PDIF (Focusrite 18i8 2nd gen) to a DAW (Ableton Live 11), and use pedals/full stereo effects to record.
